Tiger II Research Path

Well, it's actually been a while since I did one of these. Mostly because I've been WAY too busy. Nevertheless, I still found a small bit of time to do a small update soooooo here we go.

Ah, the lovely King Tiger. One of the few German tanks considered as "OP" (overpowered) in World of Tanks. Its stock gun (the 88 mm) is a very nice gun and to be honest, good players won't need an upgrade as it can penetrate most weak spots very nicely. But since it's World of Tanks, you may as well upgrade it right?

If you already have the engines from the Tiger (H), then do put them on, they will help immensely. If you don't, then just follow this guide. As always, I'm going to assume that you haven't researched ANY of the modules.
  1. Tracks: PzVIB-VK
  2. Turret: PzVIB-Henschel-Turm
  3. Engine: Maybach HL 230 P 45
  4. Engine: Maybach HL 234
  5. Gun: 10.5 cm KwK 45 L/52
  6. Gun: 10.5 cm KwK 46 L/68
  7. Radio: FuG 12
  8. Tank: E-75

If you're a below average player (or you aren't very good), you may want to consider using this path.
  1. Tracks: PzVIB-VK
  2. Turret: PzVIB-Henschel-Turm
  3. Gun: 10.5 cm KwK 45 L/52
  4. Gun: 10.5 cm KwK 46 L/68
  5. Engine: Maybach HL 230 P 45
  6. Engine: Maybach HL 234
  7. Radio: FuG 12
  8. Tank: E-75
The difference between the 10.5 cm KwK 45 L/52 and the 88 mm KwK 43 L/71 is mainly the damage and rate of fire. For a longer reload time, you can dish out more damage per shot but with 3 mm less penetration. Personally I stuck with using the 88 mm as it reloads pretty quickly and it does surprise a few people as they don't expect you to reload so fast.

  1. Ok, firstly a few people actually just rush for the guns. Would that be a better choice?
